Happily busy now and then making some new things for a shop update. This is my Queen Anne's lace tea towel. Completely made by hand, well except for spinning the hemp/cotton in this fabric...but I cut, sew, do the artwork, and screen print. This towel has been used by me to test it's durability; it's been washed, ironed, thrown around what have you to do my testing on it to make sure it works. The last thing I need to try is use it for covering bread dough..but I can almost guarantee it will be just right. I LOVE this fabric!! It's sturdy, and holds up nicely.
Just a teeny tiny sample of what I want to be putting in the shop; I have a few more designs for textiles, artwork, and even crocheted slouche hats. Having fun creating and a relaxing pace; that's the way to go!
So tell me folks, what catches your eye lately; what are you loving, crushing on? I would love to know your secret thoughts!!
If you get a chance please check out my friend Heather's wonderful magazine Souvenir. It's good people, it's really good. I seriously devoured each page. You can get a digital copy or a print copy. It is beautiful and well worth your pennies!! I now have a serious crush on Amy Hanna and her house I tell you. You will love it as well. She is mega talented.

And yes it is still H O T ----hot hot hot here!!! It seems to be attracting thunderhead clouds and causing such a ruckus in the wee hours of the night...last night I thought the H-Bomb came back. Seriously I almost jumped out of my jammies it scared the daylights out of me; but the light show from God's nature was pretty darn awesome.
