My son-in-law made this most awesome sofa table. I know I won't get to keep it permanently, but I plan on enjoying it while it is here. It was made from salvaged wood and is really just the perfect table.
But hopefully if it goes away {i.e. sold, goes to their house, etc.}, he will be kind enough to make me one of my own. :) Please ignore the cat on the table ~ she is 17, she is entitled, she rules the roost.
I have been busy making granny squares for a new afghan. I love making these. If you are just learning to crochet, the granny square is the easiest to learn, and is addictive. One of my friends posted ones like these on Pinterest, and I had to copy, I love the colors. The last one I made was bordered in black, but I like the white better. I wish I still had my first granny square afghan I made. It was lost moving from place to place and I have no idea where it went. I labored so hard at it, just to have it lost forever. Sad moment. Happy moment now that I have decided to make a new one, that I will guard with my life.
