my first creatively made project

This is my first mixed media project from Creatively Made; a altered journal.  Actually I am going to use it as an expense tracker.  I am old schooled on some things when it comes to bookkeeping.  I have a double track.  I write down my expenses the good old fashioned way with pen and paper; then I transfer them to an excel spreadsheet.  Something about having to have it in hand writing first makes me feel better; since I am really horrible about backing up my computer.  

So this little book will serve well for my chicken scratches.  I am bummed though for the fact that I had some bubbling on my paper.  I didn't smooth it out enough, and I know better, but I was using a different matte medium than I am used to.  I love Golden the best; and this brand didn't work for me as well.  But it's okay it still works just fine, because it feels more glued down than it looks.  

I love projects; and this one was a lot of fun!
