My little afghan granny squares are coming along nicely. I am just making a smaller throw, so I am going 8 across, 10 down. My squares are four inches. I can't wait to get it finished!
The little red/aqua/pink/white combo is my favorite. I think I would like to have an entire afghan made out of those colors. Or maybe even a pillow.
I'm working on a mixed media piece ~ not sure where it is going, but it's coming along as well. Also, Kayla and I are still working on getting our class structures set up for our online art courses. We would like to start by March; so hopefully everything will come together quick.
My daily bread is ready to bake this morning. I love making these little loaves. Just right for the day. I looked around at my house this morning and realized how it needs to be really really deep cleaned. The sunshine is wonderful, but shows the dirty house horribly. The cabinets all need scrubbed, stove, refrigerator, etc. Those things get neglected easy. This weekend is scrubbing time. We are a sleepy household, not getting a lot of sleep lately. My eyes are so heavy already and it's only 10 in the morning, but I have been awake since 5. I feel the need for more of a constant rest; and not just little spurts of naps here and there, just a good constant 8 hrs. of sleep. Hormones I tell you, they will not let you rest. I think menopause is like having a newborn baby; it won't let you sleep; your appetite changes, you're cranky, with an added bonus of hot flashes! Except for some reason it's all good, I feel so good right now, about life and everything, it's a great age!
