Two of my favorite scents combined together in this lovely soap I bought from Retro Pony!  I love it so much.  Jenni is a master at making soaps.  And the scent is crazy good.  

We are on a bit of a detoxification around here from all the sugar and more sugar.  Trying to eat more greens and colorful veggies, instead of so much sugar and flour.  That white stuff is a killer.  I need to wean myself off.  One of my up and coming resolutions.

We are enjoying unusually mild weather here; no snow, a bit of rain and warmer temps.  It still gets dark way too early, but that's okay I love burning candles, it makes things so much more cozy and simple.  

I am ready for the new year and new beginnings for 2012!

little lost mittens part three

Well if you have been following my lost mitten story here and here; now the poor little mittens have found their way in the clutches of a little old barn owl.  As you might know the mittens started off on a pine tree branch and then a big old reindeer traveled underneath the branch only to have the mittens stuck on his antlers.  This just bothered him so he shook and shook his head to try and get them off, and when he shook for the last time a little old barn owl just happen to be flying by and accidentally caught the mittens in his clutches and off he flew with the mittens dangling in the air below him.  Hmm, what will the old little barn owl do with his new found catch?

We have the beginnings of Christmas starting around here.  Clearly more decorating needs to be done - now whether it will be is still to be determined. 

excited about doing new designs, new fabric, new art.

first I have to finish doing my elf duties and then time for relaxing into Christmas.

oh oh, an unsuspected reindeer was strolling under the branches trying to find something yummy to eat and the next thing you know he was tangled up in the little lost mittens.  Now how is this poor reindeer going to get these little lost mittens off his antlers?  maybe if he shakes his head really really hard the will fly off!  I wonder if these little lost mittens will ever find their way home.....
