apricot jam

 
I was busy today making apricot freezer jam.  So much easier than canning.  This is definitely the way to go.   I like the cute little bright lids that Ball has made for their freezer jam containers.  Now all I need are cute little labels to go on them and I am all set. 

This morning I woke up at five a.m., and remembered I had a short little story to write for Crescendoh to hopefully be published in August.  I seem to do my best "writing" in my head early in the mornings, but usually fall asleep before I can jot anything down, my words always seems to flow better in a half sleep state.  So before I lost what I was thinking I made myself get up and grab my computer and finished my essay. 

I am trying to get myself centered for the day each morning, and honestly getting up and writing like that helped a lot.  I seemed to get a lot more accomplished today and didn't prograstinate as much. 

This week will be busy finishing up everything to take to the Barn House show.  I have one more final due on Wednesday, and then I teach summer school four hours in the morning.  A summer break from it all is coming soon and I think I will be ready!  If I am not back here for awhile, enjoy your week!!
