Salut!

My nephew Ryan and his little french sweetheart Heidi took a pose to say salut! to my blogging friends.

Ryan {love the dreads} was home for a brief visit, which is a rare treat, as we don't get to see him very often.  He is a smoke jumper and is always super busy.  In the off season he climbs trees to kill bugs of some sort in Massachusetts, that is where he met Heidi.

Heidi is a native of France, and has been in the states for the last couple of years.  It was so fun hanging out with her, talking our Franco-American me and my sister converse in.  She is giving strict lessons to Ryan teaching him french, so when they go back to France he will be well conversed. :) 

So enchante, Heidi, {it was great to meet you!}  Ahh, to be young and adventurous.  I would wear my hair in dreads and travel to France too.  The world is at your feet, oui?  Oh, and did I tell you Heidi smelled oh-so-good!!  She wears a french parfume called Jean Paul Gautier, it is my new fragrance, I love it to death!  merci beaucoup Heidi for that tip!
