I really love chocolate!
I really love chocolate, like a lot, and today I made these way out of this world chocolate cookies. If you ever find yourself with a craving of have to have chocolate, trust me these cookies do the trick. They aren't really a dark chocolate, but just a satisfying lighter chocolate, although you could probably make them a richer dark chocolate by the chocolate you prefer to bake with. Here is the recipe!
CHOCOLATE SUNDAE COOKIES
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1 egg
1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice
1/4 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
2 Tbsp milk
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Large Marshmallows
Chocolate Frosting
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream brown sugar and butter together well. Blend in the egg. Stir in 1/2 of the flour & salt. Add cherry juice and the milk. Stir in remaining ingredients,(chocolate, nuts, cherries and the remaining flour & salt) mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Cut marshmallows in half, place cut side down, on cookies. Put back in oven until the marshmallow is melted down a little. (i pressed the marshmallow down after taking it out of the oven), cool, frost with your favorite chocolate frosting! EAT!!

These look and sound yummy!! Have a wonderful evening!
