He Was and Is Spectacular!

0412082117a

I know that is a really crappy photo; but with what cameras we could take in (cell phones, and itty bitty cameras) this is the best shot we could get.

Yes, it's Elton!!  What a great show he puts on; oh my gosh, it was my dream come true.  From that young girl in the 70's who completely fell in love with him and had (has) every "album" he made, this was a big big deal for me.  He sang beautifully, I was a little worried because his voice has changed some; but he was right on.  I will always cherish this concert!!!   And best of all I got to share my experience with my baby girl.

with melted down, ugly, sweaty hair, no make-up ( I totally rubbed my face off during the concert I think) !!!  Oh **sigh** I love you even more now Elton.  :)

oh, it looks like you had so much fun. how wonderful for you. you will be riding on these feelings for a while.

I thought I was the only one in love with Elton John in high school! I saw him back in the 70's when I was in high school and I actually cried b/c I was so happy at the concert, (no drugs were involved tho perhaps they should have been). How silly I was. I am still a fan, buying the GB Yellow Brick Road album at a yard sale just last week.
smiles,
Darly
