I have a thing for vintage band-aid boxes; the metal kind. When I was young we used to go fishing with my Grandma at the creek; she always had a band-aid box full of worms and dirt, so she could use the worms as bait. I remember always wanting to get the worms out of the box and hand them to her to put them on her hook. Love those memories; but doesn't it sound like something you should do with your Grandpa? Nope, not me, it was the women in my life who taught me everything, about being a young lady to fishing in a creek, and using tools.
I did a quick painting of this vintage band-aid box for relaxing therapy. Painting is my toxin release of being uptight.
Painted on Fabriano bright white watercolor paper; with Cotman watercolors. 9" x 12" paper.
